New Home Venue Announcment

The Worcestershire Black Knights American football team have finally managed to secure a home venue in the heart of Worcestershire and changed venues to one of the newest centres in Worcester. We team previously trained at Kings Norton Rugby Football Club but have recently changed venues to the newly built and refurbished Perdiswell Leisure Centre.

Perdiswell Leisure Centre

One of Worcester’s newest projects, Perdiswell, was refurbished very recently in January 2017, with the council spending £10.5 million on the venue. The centre offers a wide range of facilities, from an Olympic size swimming pool to an AstroTurf pitch. The team take on player of all ages above 18 and of any type of experience, regardless of knowledge of the game.

We would like to thanks Kings Norton Rugby Football Club for the past 2 years. They have been a fantastic home for us, and we wish them all the best for the future.

Josh Chambers, linebacker and defensive captain of the Black Knights, said:

We are thrilled to be moving to such a high-class venue like Perdiswell. As we have said already, Kings Norton have been great to us and have been a great stepping stone in our journey to become one of the best teams in the country.

As one of 70 American football teams throughout the UK, we have just completed our debut season in the BAFA National League Division 2 South West Conference. Our next game is vs. Shropshire Revolution on March 10th in a preseason scrimmage and are holding a taster session this Sunday 14th January.
