Who are we?
The Worcestershire Black Knights are the only recognised BAFA league American Football Team in the County. A part of the fastest growing sport in the UK we are currently more than half way through our debut season in the BAFA National League Division 2 South West Conference. In just over two years we have come from a small team of players to a registered roster of over 50 players, all ranged in age and experience. Playing a full schedule of 10 games over a period of months against experienced and established clubs we are always looking for ways to expand as a club both on and off the field.
Training Wednesday: 19:30 - 21:30 @ Dyson Perrins, Yates Hay Road, Malvern, WR14 1WD
Sunday: 10:00 - 12:00 @ The Moors, Worcester, WR1 3EE
Train With Us
With players of all ages and experience levels, all you really need to come play is some studded boots, a positive attitude and a drive to improve. First and foremost, we are a TEAM which means we have a friendly environment where we all have fun and enjoy the sport we love and create a positive team mentality which helps us improve on the field. So, whether you’ve never played before, have a little experience or are a seasoned pro, we are always looking for new players and coaches to help our team to the next level.
National Division Football
As members of the BAFA National League Division 2 South West Conference, this year we are going up against experienced teams and are always looking to be competitive, with a total of 10 games, 5 of those being away trips to the likes of Newquay, Torquay and Bristol there is plenty of opportunities to play throughout the summer, with 2 wins already in our debut season we are looking to grow as a team even in preparation for next season.
This season we are competing up and down the country against other teams in a bid to secure Division 1 football next season.
We believe the time off the field is as valuable as time on the field, be that training twice a week, organising social events where we enjoy meals, bowling nights and end of season awards. We also believe as a team we have a responsibility to the local community that has supported us in our journey so far, giving back to those that have supported us in ways such as fund raising, local bag packing and organised charity events
If you are a local business looking for opportunities to get your brand name and or logo out there to a vast number of people then we have a range of sponsorship opportunities available, with nearly 1000 likes on our facebook page and other social media outlets we can offer an exciting new platform to advertise your business. So, if you are interested in seeing your business become a sponsor for our club and follow us on our travels this season to a range of different locations across the country then get in touch via our social media pages or here on our website.
